Sorry I haven’t updated! 2 weekends ago I raced at Cottage Grove Speedway, I did pretty good… Didn’t qualify very well, but I took 3rd in the heat race and then I took 3rd in the main event! That is a personal best. I’ve never finished so well in a main event!

This weekend, May 12th, we will be traveling back up to Cottage Grove Speedway to gas it up again! I’m so pumped! I would like to thank Kelly (crew chief) for the great set up, Richard (engine mechanic) for the screamin motor, and of course my parents! I wouldn’t be there without them!! I’ll keep you posted on how I do this weekend!

Cottage Grove

Well the races were cancelled for tonight.. so as long as the weather stays good, we plan on racing this coming up saturday (the 28th) in Cottage Grove!

Pumped for the 2012 race season!

So grateful to be able to race this season! After the wreck we had last summer and the economy the way it is, we never thought that we would be able to participate in the 2012 race season..

Here recently, we were ever so blessed to be sponsored by such great, kind, and generous people. Because of them, my race team and I will not only be racing here locally this summer (Medford), we will be traveling as much as possible!

My whole team is pumped to see what this race season has in store for Marissa Earle Motorsports!

Not racing tell next summer

Sorry I haven’t updated this in a while. But as most of you know, I haven’t raced since my last karting accident. I haven’t healed from the accident. Since I couldn’t race my kart during the winter, I decided to sell it.

I won’t be able to race my sprint car until next season. That’s if I am healed by then.

I will not be racing this coming up Sprint Car race. (August 13th) Because I am still healing. We want to make sure that I heal correctly before I race again. And of course I am not racing the kart race on the 12th either.

Just letting you all know! And sooner or later I’ll be out there racing again!(:

Cage Kart race, July 29th

Was having a good night. Got 2nd in the first heat and got 3rd in the second heat. The track was very dusty and dry (like always) and had no line. We all managed to keep racing, and push through it! The main event was going okay, until another driver and I got tangled up and was thrown air born into the wall backwards. Kind of picture it like a slingshot. When I hit the wall, the impact threw my head forward and then backwards. My helmet tried coming off but the Hans device that I use to keep my head in place kept it from coming all the way off. I was having a lot of head and neck pains so I was taken to the ER. I had X-rays done and CAT scans done as well. I have no broken bones; I have a bulging vertebra in my neck! I have to do a lot of resting and everything the docs and my chiropractor asked me to do so I can heal quickly and right! If I am not careful then it could turn out bad. I am for sure not racing the next kart race on August 12th, and we are still waiting to see how much I heal and if I heal correctly to see if I am racing the next sprint car race on August 13th.

ASCS first night of Speedweek

Had a rough start during hot laps and in the heat race, then the crew and I worked together and got it figured out for the B main and the “Last Chance Qualifier” race. It was pretty good racing between Brent McGrath and I. I have to say, with the help and the changes that we made, made me wanting the B mains to be the hot laps. I was ready and confident to go back out there and kick butt! Thanks to the fans that came out and supported me. Along with my pit crew and everyone else who helped get my car going around the track. (: Over all, it was a fun night, and I can’t wait to race again.

My next race is this Friday (July 15th). I’ll be racing my cage kart here in White City!!

Friday, June 17th Cage Kart

Night went pretty well, the track was nice and smooth, other then the dust and rocks… The first heat, I took 4th. The second heat, I won. (: And the main event, I wasn’t able to finish because I some how got a hole in my fuel line which causes the engine to lean out. So, my engine blew. It shouldn’t be a hard fix, thank God. But, I was still having a good night!
Enough of this go kart stuff, I need to race the Sprint Car!!!!(: lol

First cage kart race.

We had a pretty good night, especially for it being my first time in a kart since the summer of 2008. I took 4th in the first heat, 3rd in the second heat, and 5th in the main event out of 12 karts. The track was pretty ruff but I still had a lot of fun! I can’t wait tell the next kart race, which is June 17th!!

We recently invested in a 500 cc Outlaw Cage Kart. I will be racing my cage kart on Friday (June 10th) for the first time since the summer of 2008. I’m really excited! Come watch out in White City, they made the track bigger and it’s more banked.

Unfortunately, I will not be racing on Saturday (June 11th) during the 410 night. We decided to save our car and not take the risk of having our car damaged for a non points night. I will be there watching though!
